2/1/09 - CDM Congratulates Jason Chandler: New President of Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation


Charleston, SC (February 1, 2009) – Corporate DevelopMint worked with long-time client and friend Gwinnett Medical Center in the search for a new President. Last week, Jason Chandler formally accepted the appointment to the position of President, Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation. Jason comes to GMC from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where he served as Senior Director of Development. Prior to joining Belmont, Jason served in various development positions at Emory University for over seven years. His last position at Emory was as Director of Development for the Department of Medicine.

He holds a Masters of Arts in Philanthropic Studies degree from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee. He is involved in many community and professional groups such as the National Exchange Club, Close to the Cure Foundation Advisory Committee, the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the LifeChurch Leaders Team just to name a few.

Jason’s first day will be Monday, February 23, 2009. Congratulations and best of luck leading this exceptional hospital!
