Corporate DevelopMint Consultants Honored with Achievement Awards

Charleston, SC (December 1, 2007) – As 2007 draws to a close, Corporate DevelopMint honored three of its consultants for stellar service above and beyond client expectations. Dr. Jon McGann received the Pinnacle Award for exemplary work by an internal staff member and both Greer Polansky and Greg Bowden were honored with Consultants of the Year Awards for delivering superior service to Corporate DevelopMint’s non-profit clients.

Dr. McGann has been with Corporate DevelopMint for four years and has evolved into the “go-to” expert in the office. With a background in clinical research Jon has worked to develop a groundbreaking best practices model which has become a signature analysis tool which Corporate DevelopMint now uses with all of our healthcare clients. In addition to his research work with such high profile clients as the Duke Endowment, Jon also continues to write compelling Cases for Support and presentations for industry organizations like the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and The Association of Healthcare Philanthropy. According to CEO Stacy Oldfield, “Jon has the singular talent for finding a way to do what must be done even when it’s not his job and there is not nearly enough time to get it done. He always finds a way and the work he produces is second to none.”

A Charleston native, Greer Polansky began her fundraising experience at her alma mater, Porter Gaud, and has since spent three years as a Senior Consultant with Corporate DevelopMint. Although she has gained experience with a variety of non-profits, she has developed a real expertise in Planned Giving training with education and community organizations. This year alone, under Greer’s leadership, TROY University has grown its Planned Giving Program from near non-existence to twenty pledged gifts totaling over $5 million. With her diverse skill set, Greer has assumed leadership on five campaigns during the last six months of this year and is poised to reach or surpass her goal on all of them.

Now a Corporate DevelopMint veteran, Greg Bowden began his career raising nearly $2 million for the Catholic Diocese of Charleston and has since led 20 multi-million dollar campaigns with combined goals of over $200 million. He is currently lead counsel on campaigns for Methodist Oaks and Our Lady of Mercy. Like Greer, Greg has developed a reputation as an excellent trainer after having co-developed BizDevelopMint, a program to help non-profits transform valued business partners into committee donors.

“Greer and Greg have truly demonstrated themselves to be a cut above the industry standard,” says Dan Rogge, Vice President of Professional Services. “Not only do they bring years of experience and dedication to the table, but they both offer our clients a kind of enthusiastic leadership style that makes people want to follow. I am proud to honor both of these consultants with our Consultant of the Year Award for extraordinary service to our clients.”

These awards included a crystal statue and a cash prize and were presented at a Corporate DevelopMint staff retreat held at the Woodlands Resort in Summerville.
