June Bradham
Chattanooga, TN (May 18, 2007) - CEO June Bradham delivered the plenary address at this year's Association for Healthcare Philanthropy Southeast Regional conference. Every year, this event brings together representatives from some of the region's most successful hospitals and healthcare systems and this year was no exception. This year, June addressed her colleagues with a presentation on how to supercharge their boards. Sympathetic to the challenges of choosing boards and then keeping them both motivated and successful, June has developed some guidelines to building--and sustaining-- a better board. Last year at AHP, June unveiled some groundbreaking research Corporate DevelopMint had recently completed. This year, she spoke to what these important best practices confirm: that a sound, productive, involved board is the single most important factor in stimulating fundraising. June also co-presented an insightful session on "Making the Case for a Capital Campaign." Her co-presenter was Susan Sullivan, Executive Director of Roper St. Francis Foundation, a CDM client which has enjoyed an amazing rejuvenation over the past few years.
