Crissy Maynard and Rick Bragga Join Consulting Team at Corporate DevelopMint
Charleston, SC (March 1, 2007) – Due to significant expansion of its business in 2006, Corporate DevelopMint is pleased to announce it has recently added fundraising experts Crystal Barnes Maynard and Rick Bragga to its team of consultants.
“Both Crissy and Rick have not only great reputations in the field, but solid experience and a long list of satisfied clients,” says Corporate DevelopMint CEO June Bradham. “They’re smart, capable and just the right complement to our very diverse team.”
Crystal Barnes Maynard, FAHP, CFRE, has 25 years experience in the not-for-profit world, including her service as Vice President of Mission Hospitals Foundation in Asheville, North Carolina, and Executive Director, Marketing, Public Relations and Strategic Planning for the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, South Carolina.
She has achieved the highest credentials in her field and is a Fellow of The Association of Healthcare Philanthropy as well as a Certified Fund Raising Executive. In July 2004, Crissy completed her Fellowship in the American Hospital Association’s “Creating Healthier Communities Fellowship,” a prestigious, 18-month, national program designed to further develop seasoned nonprofit and community leaders to mobilize people to change communities for the better.
Rick Bragga, JD, FAHP, has 35 years of communication/fundraising experience, including 25 years in healthcare fundraising and eight years nationwide consulting. His education includes a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Mass Communication and a law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law.
Rick’s fundraising experience is extensive and he’s been a key to success in many oversubscribed campaigns. He helped raise $90+ million for an $80 million capital/endowment campaign at a small Baptist college, and directed a five-year, $50+ million campaign for a health system that raised $52.6 million in just four years.
Like Crissy, Rick is very active in the fundraising community. He is President of a chapter of the Association for Fundraising Professionals and his service to the profession includes tenure on the Boards of CFRE International and AHP, as well as numerous local and international committee assignments and chairmanships. He won the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) Journal Professional Papers Competition in 1993 and 2006 and was co-author of the article that received the AHP Journal First Place Award for 2002.
Both join Corporate DevelopMint as consultants and look forward to serving CDM’s healthcare, education, and community clients regionwide.
